Cotton Fitted Mask.
Made locally with love by Katie Dunbar
Katie Dunbar received her MFA in Visual Studies from Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, and BA in Fine Arts from the University of California Santa Cruz. She has centered her creative narratives around the natural environment and implies gentle notions of sustainability, conservation, and the wild community outdoors. Dunbar expresses these moments in her studio through illustrations and paintings, yet her portfolio also includes sculptural installations, murals, and social practice. In response to the global pandemic, she has made hundreds of cotton masks to reduce the spread and minimize landfill waste from disposable masks.
